4/11: York Boobies Bash raises $6500
As you might remember, we hold our annual Boobies Bash in October in Harrisburg, PA. This year, one of our goals was to hold this event in at least one new city and eventually make this event a packaged event that others can use to hold a Boobies Bash as well.
Laura Gifford, who's been helping us with Boobies Bus marketing and more, planned the first Boobies Bash for York, PA and we held it on Friday April 11th at Harp & Fiddle (an Irish Pub). The event was a great success and helped up learn quite a bit. She did a great job and we raised $6500 and had about 175 people attend.
Thanks to all of those who attended and also to the York College volunteers who were generous enough to take time out to work the stations.
