Meet Sherry -- Young Survivor & Fighter
I just got back from having lunch with two of my young survivor friends here in Harrisburg, Peyton and Sherry. Peyton was diagnosed in 2001 and was the first person I met after my diagnosis who was my age -- she was an angel for me.
This is Sherry and her beautiful daughter Brianna. She was diagnosed in August of 2004 at the age of 33 (about 3 months after I was diagnosed) and just found out last week that her cancer has recurred :-( We're pulling for you Sherry. Please send her lots of positive energy as she starts her treatment next Tues.
